Name Suffixes Explained
When making a Father Name, you have several options. The first and easiest is replacing the feminine suffix in the mother's name with -iel, but that isn't your only choice. You can simply change the name suffix into a different one. Say you have a woman named Mýldis - Seagull Bride (mŷl+dîs). Her daughter's father name could be Mýliel, Mýleth, Mýlien, Mýlhel, or Mýlwen. Note that in Mýldis' daughter's list of possible names I didn't include the suffixes referring to females older than childhood. Since the Father Name is given when she is still a baby, suffixes like "young woman" aren't appropriate.
