1050	Hyarmendacil conquers the Harad and lifts the seige of Umbar. Gondor reaches the height of its power. About this time a shadow falls on Greenwood, and men begin to call it Mirkwood. Thranduil may at this time move his people north away from Dol Guldur. The Istari about this time come to Mithlond. The Periannath are first mentioned in records, with the coming of the Harfoots to Eriador from the Vales of Anduin.

1240	To rid himself of all cares, Narmacil he appointed his nephew Minalcar (son of Calmacil) to be Regent in TA 1240.
1248	Minalcar defeats the Easterlings and destroys their settlements east of the Sea of Rhûn.
1250	Minalcar sends his son, Valacar, as an ambassador to dwell with Vidugavia, King of Rhovanion. Valacar subsequently married Vidumavi, daughter of Vidugavia.

The Kingship of Eldacar is rejected by many of the people of Gondor. He is considered a half-breed as his mother was not of the Dûedain and he was born in Rhovanion. 1437	After five years, the rebels, led by Castamir (a grandson of Calimehtar, brother of Róendacil II Minalcar) beseige him in Osgiliath. 1630	Around this time Stoors from Dunland migrate north to the Shire.

1634	Minardil is slain when the Corsairs of Umbar, led by Angomaitëand Sangahyando (great-grandsons of Castamir) ravage Pelargir. 1636	The Plague began in Rhovanion in the winter of 1635. Half the people and horses of Rhovanion perished. In Gondor, many people perish, especially in the cities. Calenardhon is significantly depopulated. Telemnar and all his children die. He was succeded by his nephew Tarondor, the son of Minastan, the second son of Minardil. The White Tree dies in Minas Anor. The Plague desolates much of Eriador, although its effects lessened as it moved north-west. Even so, the Shire suffers great loss. 1851	With assistance from Lindon and Imladris, Araval of Arthedain defeats Angmar. He seeks to reoccupy northern Cardolan, but evil wights terrify all who seek to dwell near.	The attacks on Gondor by the Wainriders begin.
1856	Narmacil II leads an army north and meets the the Wainriders in battle on the plains south of Mirkwood. With him is an army of Northmen of Rhovanion led by Marhari (a descendant of Vidugavia). Narmacil is defeated, both he and Marhari fall. Gondor loses its eastern territories. Eastern and southern Rhovanion are enslaved by the Wainriders. Some Northmen flee north and merge with the people of Dale. Others, led by Marhwini (son of Marhari), settled in the Vale of the Anduin between the Carrock and the Gladden - this is the begining of the Éothéod. The Nazgû re-enter Mordor. 1936	Death of CALIMEHTAR	ONDOHER, Thirty-first King of Gondor, b. TA 1787, d. TA 1944 He had two sons, Artamir and Faramir, and a daughter, Firiel. The Steward of Gondor during the reigns of Kings Ondoher and Eanil II was Pelendur.
1938	Birth of ARANARTH
1940	Gondor and Arnor renew communications and form an alliance. Arvedui heir to the throne of Arthedain weds Firiel daughter of Ondoher of Gondor.
1944	The Wainriders reappear and attack Gondor in great numbers, they forge an alliance with men from Khand and the Near Harad. Gondor is thus assailed from the north and the south. Ondoher and both his sons fall in battle north of Morannon. The Wainriders pour into North Ithilien. However, Eänil, Captain of the Southern Army defeats the southern invaders in South Ithilien. He turns north, gathers up the remnants of the Nothern Army, and wins the Battle of the Camp, and drives Wainriders camped in North Ithilien into the Dead Marshes. 1974	End of the North-kingdom. The Witch-king over-runs Arthedain and takes Fornost.
1975	Arvedui shipwrecked and drowned in the Bay of Forochel. The palantiri of Annuminas and Amon Sul are lost with him. Earnur son of King Earnil of Gondor brings a fleet to Lindon. 1981	The Dwarves flee Moria after the Balrog slays Nain I. Many Silvan Elves flee South from Lorien. Ehdellond is finally abandoned by the Elves. Amroth, King of Lorien, is lost at sea and Nimrodel his beloved is lost. Mithrellas, a companion of Nimrodel is lost in the woods of Belfalas and is taken in by Imrazô, a Dunadan of the area. 1985	About this time Galadriel and Celeborn take up the rule of Lórien. Imrazôr, weds Mithrellas who bears a son (Galador) and a daughter (Gilmith). After a few years Mithrellas vanishes.

1999	Thrain I comes to Erebor and founds a dwarf-kingdom 'under the Mountain'. Birth of ERADAN

3001	Bilbo Baggins passes the One Ring to Frodo Baggins and departs the Shire. He settles in Imladris the following year. Gandalf suspects his ring to be the One Ring. The guard on the Shire is doubled. Gandalf seeks for news of Gollum and calls on the help of Aragorn.
3002	Bilbo becomes a guest of Elrond, and settles in Rivendell.

3017	Gollum is released from Mordor. He is taken by Aragorn in the Dead Marshes, and brought to Thranduil in Mirkwood. A messenger from Mordor visits Dain and asks information on Bilbo and the Ring. Gandalf visits Minas Tirith and reads the scroll of Isildur. Birth of ALPHROS
3018		The War of the Ring begins.
3019	Both Kings Dán II Ironfoot and Brand fall before the gates of Erebor. Denethor II takes his own life during the siege of Minas Tirith. Boromir, his elder son is slain when the Fellowship of the Ring are attacked at Parth Galen. The Lord of the Nazgû slays Théden in the Battle of the Pelennor Field before the gate of Minas Tirith. Sauron is overthrown. Aragorn establishes the Reunited Kingdom and marries Arwen. The Kingdom of East Lorien is established by Celeborn and Galadriel.
